Who we are

THE TECH GENIUS DIGITAL MARKETING STORE (“The Tech Genius”, “we”) is a proprietorship registered in India under GSTIN 23BERPB1541P1ZD, at Suri Building, Semaria Chowk, Rewa Road, Satna, Madhya Pradesh 485001. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

When you contact us

The name, email address, company name, budget range and message you submit through our contact form, or send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

When you browse

Standard technical data your browser sends — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page — plus analytics data described below. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to anyone.

What we do not collect

We never ask for payment card details through this website. We do not collect special category data (health, biometrics, religion, political views) and ask you not to send it to us.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry — necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
• To deliver work you have engaged us for — performance of a contract.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it — our legitimate interest in running a functional website, balanced against your privacy by using privacy-respecting analytics.
• To meet tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation under Indian law.

We do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it, and we do not add enquiry contacts to a mailing list.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to operate. Each is bound by its own data-processing terms:

• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
• Resend — delivering contact form submissions to our inbox.
• Google (Analytics and Search Console) — aggregate traffic measurement.
• Our accountants and, where required, tax authorities — for invoicing and statutory compliance.

We never sell personal data. We never share it with advertisers or data brokers.

International transfers

We are based in India, which does not currently benefit from a UK or EU adequacy decision. If you are in the UK, EEA or Switzerland, your data will be transferred to India. Where we act as a processor for a client, we enter into Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. See our data processing agreement.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects — 24 months, then deleted.
• Client records — for the duration of the engagement and 8 years afterwards, which is what Indian tax law requires.
• Analytics — aggregated, retained no longer than 14 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent. If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you equivalent rights including the right to nominate someone to exercise them on your behalf.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to your local supervisory authority — the ICO in the UK, your national DPA in the EEA, or the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to client systems is restricted to those who need it and protected by multi-factor authentication where the platform supports it. We hold no formal security certification such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 — we would rather state that plainly than imply a standard we have not been audited against.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you directly, tell you.
